Wonders of the Open Road: Earth View Adventures

A portion of this presentation focuses on various hardships and challenges of traveling and cycling across the six bikeable continents of the world. For example border crossings, bike maintenance/repairs, language barriers, aggressive wildlife, and also physical and medical issues such as exposure to malaria, fatigue, and dehydration. Also, interfacing with local hospitals and cancer doctors was extremely important, and one of the primary objectives of each team effort.
