Wonders of the Open Road: North America

Santa Monica to Charleston, US: May, 1992

In May, 1992 Boulderite Stan Havlick and his son, Justin, dipped their bicycle wheels into the Pacific Ocean near Santa Monica, on the California Coast. Forty days, eleven states, and over three thousand miles later, they dipped their wheels into the Atlantic Ocean near Charleston, South Carolina.

Join Stan and Justin as they share tales of their journey and discuss the logistics necessary to ride from coast to coast. Together, they rode to raise money for the Colorado Cancer Foundation. Stan will also devote a portion of his program to answering your questions about the wonderful world of travel.
